Hands down the best Peking duck in town! The skin is always crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the pancakes are soft and fresh. I’ve recommended this place to so many friends, and everyone who’s gone has loved it. It’s been a while since I visited, but I still think about that duck all the time. Staff are lovely and friendly without hovering and the atmosphere is relaxed with a cozy local charm. Can’t wait to come back for another feast!

Great Chinese food on the Gold Coast which is difficult to come by. The service was also friendly. Ordered: Rainbow Beef, Fried Rice and Peking Duck and Duck Crispy Fried noodles. Rainbow Beef: was delicious, crispy and flavorful. Fried Rice: whilst tasty and fried well, had very little bits of meat and other ingredients, more like specks. Peking Duck: was delicious, however skin could have been more crispy. Found it a bit chewy and hard to bite through. Please note it takes ~25 min for duck to be prepared even if pre-ordered over the phone so best to call in advance to tell the restaurant you’re on the way so you don’t have to wait too long especially if hungry. Duck Noodles: A bit salty, and some of the noodles were caked up together and not separated.

POSITIVE: They serve good sized portions. The rainbow Peking beef was delicious NEGATIVE: The fried rice is probably the worst I’ve had. You’d be better off ordering steamed rice and adding soy sauce. Lacked everything there is about it being “fried rice”. I found this disappointing as it’s predominantly my favourite dish and I wouldn’t order it again from here.
